Did you see in the debug window that it didn't get the verification code?
If so, you can open Gmail IMAP POP3
1)Enable IMAP:
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=en&visit_id=636978912827203021-3538035162&rd=1
2)Enable for less secure app access
https://myaccount.google.com/security
